This guide explains how Dynamic Shift works in RS Production
HOW IT WORKS
This function is useful when you have unplanned shifts, such as overtime. The Dynamic shift makes sure to collect data outside planned production and adjust when the shift ends.
The shift will adjust when the shift has ended and set the first cycle during the shift period as Shift start time, and the last cycle during the shift period as Shift end time.
Important note! Please note that Dynamic shifts only work with Cycle singals, not Status signals!
CONFIGURATION IN OFFICE TOOLS
Log in to the installation and go to Office Tools then go to Production>Scheduling>Shifts-tab.
Select the shift you want to work with, and set it as "Dynamic" then Save.
